Hopefully next year, still in a lease and I am curious if the A10 transmission will make it into the SS cars. The A10 will highly motivate me if so!

Well, in my history of dealing with Mustang owners. They are sheep for the most part. They travel in packs thinking they have the......best Mustang in the group. Little do they know, they are all the same. I still can't go one day without some kid in a mustang wanting to street race. It's like....owning a Mustang gets in your blood and reeks havoc with your ego.

I'm actually looking forward to that a little. Right now I don't get to have much fun. From the back guys see the sumped fuel tank, 275 dr's, all cammed up with no exhaust sticking out and either give me a thumbs up driving by slow or lay back aways.

I dont think it's due to the move to upmarket b/c there were several C7's.
It's hard to say because in the monthly sales threads, everything is lumped together with no distinction between what model year / generation they are. But I think the ratio of 6th gen Mustangs to 6th gen Camaros is more like 1 to 4 at this point with the Mustang's earlier sales lead and stronger overall performance. And this being real life of course, nothing will ever strictly fit statistical odds, so seeing 10 Mustangs and 1 Camaro is totally reasonable when having just 1 more Camaro would have made the ratio more realistic. Lol.

As far as the C7 goes, you will see a disproportionate amount of course because people treat those as show cars. If a car show was representative of what people really own, it would be full of Honda Accords and Toyota Corollas.

strictly my observation and im not trying to start a pissing match but I know one is coming...Ive been in the car scene in S. FL for 28yrs off and on and Mustangs have always had a greater presence than Camaros at the track or at car meets and sales have no noticeable impact. This fact plus the # of obviously modified Mustangs vs Camaros seen in daily driving makes me see the Mustang as the enthusiasts choice.

Like others have expressed, I kind of like the idea of driving a car that isn't a dime a dozen on the street. Especially one with the kind of performance numbers the 6th gen has. I think if you showed up at that show in a 6th gen ZL1 you would get plenty of positive attention.

i also think it's important to remember that when people see us or talk to us as "camaro owners" we act in such a way as not to give all camaro owners a bad reputation.

It's obvious that Mustang owners can't handle the power of their cars, so they KNOW better than to attempt the power of a Camaro. Maybe one day they will gain experience and move into a real car.

The first 2016 Camaro I ever saw is still on the dealer's lot for sale since January. Crazy! It was all black with upgraded split spoke black wheels, magnetic ride, 8A with the red interior upgrade. Very nice car. We couldn't get within $1000 for a fair deal, so I bought elsewhere. Now this dealership has it's third on the lot (it sold a V6 model) which is a $51+K blue convertible with lots of options and it's been there for 2 months now. It's not the car's fault, the dealership is really giving terrible trade-in on all cars...

Only had my car a week now and I've been out cruising the local cruise route here in the city, and have gathered lots of looks and thumbs ups even from the Mustang crowd, even the Vette guys are giving the "wave".
So, far it looks like I'm one of the only 2SS G6's here for the moment. Thus all the interest. So, far I love this car!

Im like the other guy, I enjoy being the rare breed as well. Peolpe still sleep on these, I was following a new corvette and he was TRYING to leave me probably thinking, what is this guy behind me think hes doing. But he realised quick with all the punching he was doing and dipping through traffic I was dead on him. He almost seemed pissed, he must not know we have the LT1, things have changed buddy. So yea lets just stay rare, cool with me.

If they are the same there as they are here, they are also dominated by young and immature people. Everyone comes out for the first couple, then it's all immature 20 year olds after that that like to do things that result in the cops getting called and getting kicked out. They never buy anything either, so when you have 50 cars at a Sonic parking lot and no one is buying food, it makes sense Sonic will call the cops.

I live in the Rochester NY area and we have a Cruise night every night of the week. I go to at least 2 of the bigger ones every week with my '02 Corvette convertible. Some of these locations will have up to 800 cars attending. I have only seen one Gen 6 Camaro attending this year. That particular car was a White 1SS Coupe.
I have a Hyper Blue RS on order (TPW 8/1) I guess in a few weeks ...I will be the second one attending!

I'm not a fan of the vertical fog lights on the I4/V6 grills - Not sure why, just irks me when I look at it hehe.
