I keep mine in the front window on the passenger side . I've already been pulled over once and cop said nothing about having no front plate and me having it in the front window. I would never ruin the appearance of that front grille with a license plate . Like most others , I roll the dice

Just ordered one for my '16 2SS. Hope I like it, not some cheap POS.

Agreed. Plus I've spoken to cops that will pull people over with it there in the windshield bc they know someone is trying to skirt the law and not put it on. It's not legal in the windshield and it looks bad to boot

Here's a suggestion, my kids window shades came with 2 extra suction cups(total of 4) and I used those to suction cup mine to the top right of my window. I've been seeing more and more people doing this and it honestly doesn't hinder vision, unless you're trying to look at birds lol

Ok, so you have to use big zip ties where they won't pull through the holes of the plastic license plate holder. So, you push the zip tip through the front hole (where you normally would use a screw to go into the bumper). Then, you simply loop the zip tie around the grill and right back through the same hole from the backside. If your zip tie end is fat enough, it will lock into place. Tighten to your presence and repeat for the other hole. Very simple.

I rather gamble then ruin the beautiful appearance of my car with a ugly license plate . Plus I have my brother in law who's a cop and my PBA shield cards so most cops won't write a ticket if you know someone . Just saying

Really?!?! Looks like you have a front license plate bracket on your front end?
