2 weeks in the shop for a few spots? Car could have been completely repainted twice in that time. Hope you took a pic of your odometer before dropping it off.

I did. Plus, I am using the OnStar app while it is free. I dropped the car off at 1598, and currently, it has 1601 on it. Being that they had to look at a rear end noise issue and a transmission issue as well, 3 miles should be all that was needed.

I finally received an update from the dealer, and it looks like it has to go back to the body shop.

We are approaching the finish line. Body shop finally finished with it yesterday. There is only one speck of trash in the paint……I will send that back over after we install the exhaust. We have compared the trans noise against others and it is the same. There was an update on the software for the trans and that was performed.

Yes sir got the same problem on my hot red camaro. Spots all over the paint. It's the clear coat forsure. I told service about this and all they did was wax my car and detailed it. Hey guess what...spots still there!! Need a professional painter to look at this or someone who knows what to look for.

Mine is still at the body shop. It has been sent back 8 times so far, only 3 times by me, for trash in the paint and other issues. My complaints have been sanding grooves in the deck lid (the bad spots were on the quarter panel), scratches on the deck lid that did not exist prior, and bare metal (paint missing) in the door jamb. I have been stuck driving a Malibu, and now an Equinox, since 5-31.

I had a spot on my hood and a bird shit spot on my fender from when it was on the lot. Body man fixed both problems in 5 minutes while I waited with 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound. Shiny as new, went home and polished and sealed spots.

Noticed 2 small (3-4 mm) spots on mine - after washing/polishing not very noticeable unless you look for them. In a way I'm lucky, I guess, doesn't seem like it would be worth it to have the dealer try to fix them.
