Not that I'm a huge fan of them but it seems they would alleviate some of the problems getting in and out of the car in tight parking situations...

if it's that tight of a lot to park in, and the car beside you don't have "winged doors", then you are preventing his car from getting dinged, but now you will get dinged from them. So all you did was prevent the other car from getting damaged.

And if you are parking that close to a structure or something, find another spot.

V10's don't have the scissor doors. V12's do.

As for this topic, to each their own. There are mods we all do that someone else doesn't like, your car, mod it however you see fit.

I for one line them. But that's because I have only owned imports before my SS.

this I agree with. So if you don't have a V12, don't put the lambo doors on it. If you have a V12 or greater, then you good to go.

these with a big wing and bomb bay doors and YOU ARE SET.

Do this to a challenger, make it waterproof and you have a LITERAL BOAT, possibly with wings

Not sure what is meant by "ricer" but I like scissor doors.

I can't afford a V12 (or even the V8, for that matter) but I could afford the door kit and it was fun to install them on my car- which I thought was the point of modding a car... journey over destination and what not.

For the poster that wrote the Camaro is a muscle car, I'm not certain they've gone in that direction with inline 4's, turbos, smaller and lighter alpha frame, etc. I parked next to a Scat Pack Challenger and my car looked like a subcompact. I've a 2 liter engine, not a 7 liter like the larger and heavier (and infinitely more badass) 2015 Z/28.

My two cents, but I guess people need to hate...

Had lambo doors in 05. Everyone is free to do what they want with their cars. When people ask "what do you think?" Or "how does this look?" Be prepared to get flamed at least once because your asking for peoples opinion. Everyone's taste isnt the same. I see these post all the time and i havent even been a member long. Go with what "you" like and accept what others feel about your mod. It has nothing to do with hate
