Seems like unnecessary aggression. Click off the cruise control for awsome aka caps lock and maybe kindy remind the OP that there is a General Automotive & Other Cars section of this very forum.

Or just mindlessly rage. . .whatever works for ya.

Does a supercharger produce more heat in the engine area/compartment? If so does this Mustang have any of the extra cooling that the gen6 SS has like 3 radiators and hood heat-extractors? Or for that matter a transmission cooler and rear-diff. cooler in case you actually want to do something more with your 600-700 HP Mustang than drive to the office and dry cleaners?

I just can't see it being a reliable power train. And with all that HP and torque, are they beefing up the suspension and tires/brakes? No. You'll need to get that fixed yourself. Still, awesome price.

well its probably going to wind up in a crowd regardless, at least with the blower there may be less witnesses.

Really? Yea, look at all my past posts, so many about ford. Get over yourself. Just thought it was a good deal, and cool for a dealer to do something like this. I'm sure if any kind of chevy dealer did this it would be the greatest thing ever and really maybe this will make some chevy dealers think about a program like this

Nothing wrong with researching other brands, but let's take a look at this deal. Ford Racing sells the supercharger and ford dealers install it, but Ford will not warrant it? Sounds funny? Chevrolet sells the ZL1 with a supercharger, fully covered under warranty. Chevrolet warrants the Camaro even in track usage.

If a manufacturer sells a product, authorizes the dealership to install it, then voids the warranty, what faith would you have in that vehicle if the manufacturer doesn't ?

Just my .02

The ZL1 has an engine purposely built for boost. Our SS does not, and neither does the Mustang.

What I am saying is that Chevrolet warrants their cars even in track usage, Ford voids the warranty for installing a product they sell and install. The ZL1 comes with a supercharger and all of the suspension goodies with a factory warranty that you cannot get through Ford. Also, why would Ford sell/install a supercharger on a motor that is not equipped for the boost?
