A good watch is essentially antiquated at this point but owning a quality watch is more appropriate for several situations than getting out a cellphone and clicking around on it. Church, a date, hunting, almost any standardized test, it also makes a decent compass if you need to know your directions. If you're in a white collar job it's also a power piece, your choice of timepiece says a lot about you in that type of setting.
