Seems like that last bit isn't going to happen from the rumblings I have heard. It will be 50 state compliant, but they may not offer a ECU update.

Well this is all bad news longer wait high price if not with calibration & with out the calibration fuel trims will go whacky over time. Which in return will gum up are DI engines even faster. With out the calibration I might as well go aftermarket and tune the car and throw my warranty out.

That said seeing is believing when I can walk in and buy it at my dealer is when I will know all this info is legit.

Me too....The pre-order price was $320+ ship (good til the 19th I think) . Pretty reasonable, and I liked the testing they went through to optimize the design.

Got my CAI brand. Great quality and perfect fit. I'm sure the Mishimoto is just as nice, but I've had prior experience with CAI.

This may be a bit off topic but I'm seriously interested in buying the GM CAI but on the website it only talks about the LT1 engine leading me to believe its only for the SS, is it not compatible with the V6?

Has CAI confirmed or denied they are making the GM piece? It fairly obvious beside the filter color they are the same. If GM is not gonna offer a reflash then theres no need to sit around waiting for it ill just get the CAI unit now.

So far after a few days driving about 350 miles, i am extremely impressed with the Intake from CAI. I would have waited for GM myself but sometimes i am the type that wants it and wants it now... I don't have a ton of background with intakes but the sound and my responsive touch to the throttle has made me a happy camper.

From the FWIW file, my LS3 was run on the dyno with the only mod being a CAI intake. My tuner commented that it was running "quite a bit rich" before he installed headers, a ported TB and a fresh dynotune with +42 rwhp.

We had Matt from FSP check my car out quite extensively. Didn't require any adjustment to our tune. Always good advice to tune or check and make sure that the mod is doing what it should. Great comments, Indydriver.

My Super Chevy mag just did a review/test on the Cold Air Inductions kit and they gained 11 hp and 27 tq at the wheels on a 2016 Camaro SS.

If i'm not mistaken Jannitty Racing was looking for a stock car to do some testing on I wonder if any progress was made on that front. Im interested in data that examines changes in AFR and long and short term fuel trims after it on there.
