That is the price paired with Navi. It would make sense to do that on the 1LE as well from a profit standpoint.

Actually, a 33.3% increase which is even better : )

You really have no reason to wait for pricing, we know enough already.

With MSRP starting at around $37,295 for a 1SS, and the PDR on the Vette being just under $1,800. To be conservative, let's assume PDR is only $1,500 on the Camaro, that still leaves less than $3,500 for the 1LE package in order to stay at $42,000(MSRP of course).

I am not doubting your ability to work a deal under MSRP, but I think we all know this package will be north of $4,500 without a doubt. $42K may be a bit ambitious.......maybe skip PDR to get the 1LE? I will have to answer this question one day too, and not sure if I will check that box even with employee pricing.

Ack! Dumb end of the work day math error. You're right. I was thinking 1,500 * 3 = 3,500
I stand corrected.

Ha-ha, it's cool. I'm there everyday after work.

I had to pull up an internet calculator to make sure I had it right.

Right now a base 1SS with supplier discount is $36k. Add on options are 9% off MSRP currently. So if it comes in st $5k that's $4,550 for the 1LE if things stay the same. That totals $40,550 without the PDR. I think under $42k is very doable if things stay pretty close to the same. I'm expecting s slight bump on 2017 pricing. That sounds better than the $48k 2SS build I have planned. : )

While Im happy for the 1LE buyers, the value of the 1LE is just so much better than a comparably optioned 2SS (assuming its anywhere under 45K sticker) that I cant see any compelling reason to get the 2SS...I hope they figure out 2SS pricing/optioning to still make it a decent value :/

some people may disagree, but dual zone, heated/cooled accouterments, seat memory, some safety features, and spectrum lighting arent worth $5K, when 1SS vs 2SS I get all the same things AND leather seats and a HUD for the same price;
from a marketing perspective it makes no sense to give consumers at the top end, e.g. mag+npp 2SS buyers LESS value/dollar than those purchasing more in the middle of the pack (no option 1SS with 1LE)

Heck yeah man, deals will be had that's for sure!

A 2SS......I'm not sure I could do that. If not a 1LE, I think a 1SS would still be my choice, I am just pumped HUD is included now with 1SS/1LE.

Good luck man, I hope your cars is one of the cars I drool over until Summer 2017 when it's my turn

They will appeal to two totally different customers. Don't expect a price change on the 2SS...Let's try to keep this thread on-topic.

I agree. The only things I would like in my 1LE that the 2SS offers is the spectrum lighting and light up door sills, and the leather wrapped bits in the cab and on the door that don't come on the 1SS. I just think it's a cool looking touch that doesn't add much weight. I don't mind a little flash every now and then lol. The heated, cooled, memory seats they can keep. Dual zone climate in my opinion is cool, but unnecessary. I hardly ever use it.

Well the 5th gen 1LE was $5500 with Recaros. And extra for NPP. So this isn't much of a surprise.

So a base SS is $37,295.00 MSRP including destination charges. If the 1LE package costs $5,000.00 the total cost would be around $42,295.00 MSRP without the PDR. Add PDR estimated at $1,800.00 then your at $44,100.00. Considering all the performance goodies and content you get even at MSRP that's a steal. With discounts it's even more attractive. Hopefully this all holds true but it will be a while until we find out the real cost of the package.

Very true, even at $6K it is a steal. Even the base GT350 at $48K plus doesn't include all the cooling etc and goes limp after 20 minutes on the track. In comparison, this is an amazing deal!
