Dual zone climate Control Homelink auto dimming mirror heated/cooled seats blind zone alert All items that have some value for a daily driver since MOST people that buy a 1LE will not have it sit in the garage except for track days. 99% of the buyers will still use the car as a daily driver. I want a great daily driver that is also track focused. And I can't get the eDiff and PDR and potentially the aux coolers stand alone. I can't afford a 1SS with 1LE and a 2SS. : ) |

If you guys are right, the 6th Gen 1LE will be a GREAT bargain. Man, I just look at the equipment list and I wonder how they can do it for under $46K. I can't wait to see the pricing and see how full of crap I am on my estimate. |

yeah, I get that its a track car that for most wont see the track, but then why buy it? that I don't get. you want the creature comforts, go 2ss. im sure a 2ss 1le would be nice, but that would be like settling for second place performance wise imo

It's as simple as that. I've always wanted a 1LE ever since the 3rd gen but I wasn't about to purchase one without A/C and a radio. None of us need an SS either when a V6 will do for 99% of Camaro buyers but we opt for it anyway. Why? Because we want one |

Short and simple. Take the cost GM pays their suppliers for the new 1LE pieces. Subtract the cost GM pays their suppliers for the SS parts that won't be needed on the 1LE. Double that amount and round it to an easily marketable number i.e. $XX00 or $XX95. That's how a ton of companies figure out pricing. I really have no doubt they can bring it in for less than $3000 in extra cost which would make it a $5000-6000 option.

If you add up the base price of a 1SS with the 6 Piston brakes and MRC and guess for the other items and subtracting / adding for the semi upgrades....
Base 1SS: $37,295 (delivered) MRC: $1,695 Brakes: $3,175 Suspension: $800 (guess) Splitter: $550 Seats: $1,200 HUD: $250? Partial Leather rear seats: $250 Wheels & Tires: $800 (more than an SS) NPP: $895 Matte Hood, mirrors and spoiler: $250 Total: $47,160 (Guess)

People thinking 5k or less are going to be very upset. ELSD, Recaro, MRC, NPP, big wheels and tires, 6 piston brakes, HUD plus all the little things... On a v8, I originally thought 5995 but am thinking 6995 the more I think about it.

BUT, 5 grand would be much nicer since last year it was a $3500 package, regardless of changes. Hopefully we will know soon... |

Any thinking $5k is going to get very mad. If GM shipped all of the offering for $5K as a 2SS owner I would stab a fool.

With the parts bin Chevy has, I think $5-6k is very reasonable. Again, there's only so high you can push this package's price and get sales without making the car its own model, as in the Shelby's. |
