Hopefully you've made enough scratch in the ten years that you don't need it!

I'm not sure what the invoice price was on mine. I'll see if I can find it and reply. I suspect that the College discount is pretty close to invoice across the board.

Based on my negotiations with my dealer, I suspect you should be able to get lower than MSRP with no problem.

The college discount is the same as supplier pricing and not many discounts stack on top of it.

Does the discount apply in this scenario: My daughter is in college and I am paying for it. I want to buy a Camaro. Can I use her being in college to get the discount if I am paying for her college?

Does anyone know if this is a rebate to the dealer provide by GM? What I am getting at is, are the dealers getting the savings I am getting back from GM at a later date? If so, see below.

If that is so, what is stopping me from making a deal, below MSRP, then at the last second state that I have a college discount on top of the discount the dealer has provided.

Thanks for the assistance!

If the college discount you are referencing is tied to the GM Supplier Pricing Program than the dealer is tied to Program Pricing. Other than that, nothing.

I was just offered the college discount plus an additional $1,000 off. Does anyone know if there is any wiggle room left in the price? I also have a $1,000 Private offer. Will that stack?

IF the collage discount is any thing like the supplier discount it says right on it that this discount it applied after you have already agreed upon a price with the dealer just like gm points they both will be applied after you make any deals with the dealership. That being said the dealer will grumble about it but it as it is a rebate they get back from gm but they have to accept it.

I graduated 2 years ago and currently in grad school. But when I go onto the college student discount site on chevy, there is no discount on the 2016 camaro. What is up? And when does the college discount apply? At the time of delivery?

I was told that the college discount is a set price and that if a dealer offers a better deal than what the college discount is, then take the better deal. The dealer I am working with doesn't know that I can get the college discount as I was going through the buying motion under the notion that I have an ace in my pocket if I don't get a low price.

Based on what you are saying, Skiman, I should get a discount on top of my already agreed upon price? Where does it say this for the supplier pricing?

Thanks for the help.
