I suspect after a 50,000 mile tear down you would not know the difference between brands. More importantly is the viscosity appropriate for how you drive your vehicle and regularly changing your oil and filter. Just my 2 cents but I think brand name alone is more of a feel good thing. If the oil meets the manufacturer's specifications and is the appropriate viscosity your engine doesn’t know or care what name is on the container.

Used RP in my 700+ cid and 500 cid race engines for years with no complaints.

As long as the oil meets the requirements of viscocity and specifications (Dexos2) for your car, it really doesn't matter. Even Supertech and Amazon Basics synthetic oils are excellent. I personally use Mobil 1.

RP fluids are very good. I have ran them in my vehicles for years with excellent results. My F150 5.0 has over 218k miles and runs strong, ran RP oil since first oil change. My car runs great with RP in it.

When I switched over to RP from Mobil 1 ESP in my ZL1, I could even here the lifters quiet down when the RP flowed up to them!
