You don't know it, but you are in one of the best autocross regions in the country. Washington DC region SCCA has events at FedEx field in Landover. Their chapter club, Autocrossers Incorporated has events down in Waldorf.

I lived in MD for 38 years and ran with these guys for about 18 of those years. Great group.

I think Capital Driving Club has events, possible right at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick which is very near you. Very, very small lot though, bordering on unsafe. They used to have them out in Cumberland at the airport, but I don't know if they still do that.
