That does sound awesome. Where are you planning on setting your redline at, now that you've gone solid?

It's a stealth cam really, but a solid roller would have put the proper icing on the cake as I would have liked it.

Sledge 3.0 shall be introduced to viewing public week of April 20th
Still should make good power. I would say if you decide on a bigger cam at any point, to consider a solid.

Thanks guys. Ryan, Kip told me you were running one. I'm surprised I never really saw much on it. Glad you're starting to offer them.

Burt, I'm thinking around 7000. We'll see how the power does to 7000. I don't imagine I'll go much higher than that.

Lol
.
I'll give an honest review on this cam in mid April. I'll be tuning it at that time as well.

Roads still have plenty of debris and salt, and the temps are still way too cold for the OEM GoodYears.

This cam should provide nice grunt down low, like when coming out of the turns on the track, can't wait to try it out!

I honestly wish I had known about the "low lash" solid roller before I bought my latest camshaft. I think I would have gone that route. I wonder if they make one for the SBC for another car I own?

I'm sure they do. Call Cam Motion just to be sure.

Is it wrong that I keep playing this video because I can't go out and start it? Lol. Reminds of this LME solid roller corvette I use to have on comstant replay.

Figured some of you have been waiting to see/hear this. I haven't slept in about 36 hours because I just got back from Florida this morning, and was hell bent on finishing this today. Going to have to adjust a couple valves on the driver's side, but other than that, the engine bay is almost silent. I'll be doing a detailed thread in a few days.

Enjoy.
Ok back to the vid , unless I missed it somewhere, what are the basic specs on this stick if I may ask?

I don't remember the exact lift. I'm not trying to hide cam specs. I've never been weird about that.

now that you've got it up and running with the new cam, how does it drive? I know taking valve lash into account will effectively lower those specs a little, but even so, that's a gnarly cam. I figure there will be at least some driveability compromises, just curious as to how much
