His podcast is amazing and has changed my life. Taught me to relax a bit and listen to others. He got me into hunting and I picked up my bow again. I listen all the time.

You good sir, are clearly enlightened,
now if I can just drum up some more interest from other C5'ers...

you know, I actually came to the JRE b/c someone turned me on the the Jason Ellis show on Faction on XM radio. it was funny and the dude seemed like a good dude and had some motivational things to say, but over time it all just rung hollow. he talks a good game but he just doesn't seem to back it up. Joe on the other hand is a man's man, but is still a really thoughtful and caring person. he's a little out there on some of his ideas ut i think over time he's shown that more than anything he's interested in finding the truth. he walks the walk and he's a true role model. love listening to when he has doctors and fitness exprets (like Cara Santa Maria, Neil DeGrasse Tyson & Rhonda Patrick), musicians (Everlast & Honey Honey) as well as comedians (especially Grapefruit Simmons, Bill Burr, etc.). Tend to just skip the hippy dippy Alex Gray/Graham Hancock bs but love the Duncan Trussell/Chris Ryan threesomes. I know i've already chimed in on this thread as a true fan of the podcast, but just thought i'd chime in and echo my support.

the podcast link - easiest is to sign up and subscribe on some sort of podcast player like the built in Podcast app on iOs or Stitcher.

The youtube page of the podcast where you can watch the video feed

Joe Rogan's site, with link's to the podcast plus more

again, he has many different types of guests, so depending on who you listen to, the results may vary.

I agree,
some podcast episodes are better than others, the ones with Duncan Trussell always have me cackling like a mad man, I also enjoy learning new things, like you said, with Cara Santa Maria, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, etc.

Also, I agree, Joe Rogan is a really good dude, he seems genuinely happy, and wants to spread that happiness around.
This podcast has changed my life, seriously, it is a Kale shake for me almost everyday for breakfast,

Happy New Year to all C5'rs, even my haters...

Just a daily friendly bump, this podcast has a really positive message and has changed my life for the better,
give it a shot.

I issue all of you this challenge:
Download any 5 random episodes (there are over 500!)
((The episodes with Duncan Trussell, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are the best, in my opinion)

If after honestly, and openly listening to those five episodes, you do not have a better, more positive outlook on life, you can call me a fool.
You can do it, right here on this message board, I agree to be your public whipping boy.

The gauntlet has been thrown down, do you accept?

I love the podcast. My favorites are when Duncan Trussel or Dr. Rhonda are on. They are funny and informative. Also when Brian Callen and Brenden Schaub come to comment on fights.

Irishbred, I do not know if you are aware of it, but Brendan Schaub and Brian Callen have their own podcast "The Fighter and The Kid"
It is very good, they are both HILARIOUS.

Yeah I've heard them drop the name while on JRE but I always forget to listen to it. I will have to check it out.

One of the best episodes of Fighter and the Kid Podcast is entitled
"Brendan's hilariously awful trip to the DMV and Bryan's new movie"

I cannot describe it here, but both Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub are experts at improve comedy, so they always come up with the most ridiculous stuff off the cuff.

It is also funny if you listen to older episodes because Ronda Rousey has been on several times, both when she and Brenan Schaub were dating and then after.
You can tell too, when they were dating she is all lovey-dovey "ohh you are so cute, and the sexiest fighter ever baby....." and then after they broke up... she is much colder.

There was another episode Ronda was on.
She was making fun of Tim Kennedy, because apparently there had been a poll going around the MMA world. The poll asked each MMA fighter if they were in a zombie apocalypse, and could only pick one other pro MMA fighter who would it be?
A bunch chose Ronda, and Tim Kennedy got really butt-hurt about it. Granted, Tim Kennedy is a full fledged ninja. I mean the man is a Ranger, Green Beret, 100% badda$$ stone cold killer, but I'm probably going to die a horrible death being eaten by zombies, and Ronda does have certain attributes that Time Kennedy does not, The conversation gets more and more hilarious as it goes on.
Please let me know what you think

That zombie apocalypse one was hilarious! They went into depth on who would be a better partner.

So I listened to that one you suggested.

Hold...Hold... Hold...

It was pretty funny. Poor Bryan and his movie going straight to DVD lol. I am tempted to buy it just to see if its any good.
