As I referenced when Holden closes all its plants in Australia the Ute will also cease to be produced as they are built there exclusively. Some cars sold under the Holden banner are already being re-badged as Chevrolets.

Holdens will stay Holdens and Chevrolet is not entering the Australian market.

I second this. I'd buy a v8 Ute in a heartbeat. I also think that any HSV/CSV would be unattainable to most average joes from a cost stand point. Would be cool to see, but I think in the end, it's probably not a money maker, which I think both GM and Wilkenshaw would need to survive.
