0-60 in 1st gear. That's part of the reason their magazine times were so stout - NO shift.

Remember, "If you can see your breath, time to change tires!"

Back on topic, Most people that end up with these types of cars don't really have the ability to run them.
LOL.....It was a damn fun and fast as hell car but I started to HATE the manual trans again. If there were an auto GT500 I would still have it.
The Charger damn sure isn't the fastest thing around but its just as fun. It should be in the 11's right now with the mods I just put on it but the tracks are closed.

A lot of the time, when a guy says "it just got away from me" that translates to "I was being a dumbass." The street is not the place to show off in a car like that.

Look at the statistics of the average driver age of totaled Camaro's or Mustangs for that matter. Then come back and make that statement. I would place my driving skills and knowledge against yours any day of the week. Dumbass thing to say.

I was thinking the same thing. Scary.
They do say that the GT500 makes you want to really pay attention when driving the car. Torque monster.
I may be wrong, but I think 1st gear is good up until 60 mph.
