Sounds like you are having fun. More power to you, brother. Enjoy owning what thrills you and let the haters hate.

You need to change your user name to iHadCamaro.
As long as you are happy with it, then Heaven forbid he would come back and talk about his new car. As they say, haters gotta hate. |

I owned a 11' evo MR and now a 13' 1LE...I have also owned an evo 8 MR (mod friendly) and an STi (a pita to do anything serious)...
I can tell you, for me, that the 1LE has been the most fun car to date...the sheer power and the way it stays planted is night and day... As someone posted already going above 400awhp ( not saying it has not been done) gets a bit hairy on that auto tranny....and if it goes bad your are out some huge bucks...i think somewhere around 12-15k....the 11' evo MR was the worst choice for me...thinking back I should have gone for the GSR but the 5 speed manual with hwy driving was not ideal... Plus the maintenance on the dual clutch was way too costly for me, every 15k miles recommended...and every awd car I had burned thru tires every 15k miles but I am sure the tire wear and cost will be about the same on the 1LE... There are some nice companies that do great work for the mitsu platform...so am sure you will have fun... |

As for the OP he knew damn well what he was doing by coming on here and posting his little short story after seeing what happened last time. That my friends is a troll in disguise doing his best to reel in the "haters". Remember this is a camaro site so to come on here and express why you feel your car is better then a camaro is going to cause a stir.

I am glad you like the new car and you have found one that is a great fit for you, but ouch on the performance and price. I don't think it would be for me:
Base MSRP: $37,695 2.0L 291 hp I4 (I know you can modify it, but damn that's on the low side) Fuel economy 17/22 (so less than a camaro v8 but down 135 hp, 4.2L less in displacement, and four cylinders) 3,572 lbs (not exactly a light weight) |

Anyways I do agree that the op was a bit over zealous in his presentation....that could have spoked some negativity

Why are we comparing apples to oranges - here is a 1LE just like his for this price $35,535 if he says and EVO out handles and out powers and 1LE I want to see it - really I do |

It was ninety nine cents!

LOL He just came here giving a comparison of his old car to his new one. Big deal. Lay off the guy.
Nowhere did he say anything bad about the camaro. Seems like the Evo is a better fit for him. I'm actually considering an EVO for my DD once my SS is paid off, I'd like something fun to drive in the winter while my SS is stored. I found the post pretty informative. Enjoy your new car OP.
