This will only rob from those production numbers. And considering the price bracket they're pobably going to end up in, I doubt it's going to be any bigger of a seller than the Challenger.

So, yeah, fiscally doesn't make sense to me...
They are, allegedly, replacing the Challenger with this

So it won't cut into the Challengers sales since the Challenger won't be in production anymore

You might, allegedly, have a good point.

I like it, I always liked the Cuda better than the Challenger

Most of Dodge's performance cars seem over priced, considering at almost every level the Camaro and Mustang offered much better performance for less.

What the f*ck is that? That's not a Cuda, I can tell you much.

There's deviating from being retro, but then there is deviating from a car's identity.

And the Camaro doesn't deviate from it's identity with the 5th gen? It's certainly not retro enough and only about 4 parts of the car actually translate to their predecessors.

1. The profile, low roof line and side look
2. The sunken in headlights
3. The shape of the v6 fascia
4. The interior

Otherwise the I can't find anything else that would immediately stick out as the Car being a Camaro. That is if you'd never seen one before and it had absolutely no badging on it.

Though I guess deviating from the Camaro's original design was actually a trend for the Camaro with each newer generation...

Dude, you can't sit there and tell me the Camaro is as far from its 1969 inspiration as that car is from the Barracuda's... ... whatever model year it's drawing inspiration from, if any.

The side window shape, split grille, and shoulder line are virtually the only things that are maintained. It's too bloaty and too import-looking otherwise.

Our Camaros are perfection - you're right, the cars shouldn't be TOO retro, but the 5th gen is far more retro than that thing for sure. It doesn't look like a barracuda in any manner at all with the exception of the two things I stated above. You know what it looks an awful lot like? An Import or Foreign Sports ca--- OH SHIT, that's EXACTLY where they plan to go with the Mustang!

There's no American styling in the car at all is what I'm saying.

The Camaro, 5th gen, was designed by a Korean who hadn't seen a Camaro until he was, if I recall correctly, 20. The Camato looks like a Camaro if it was designed by a foreigner. The Mustang will likely go the same way as the Camaro did.

My point is neither the Current Camaro nor that Cuda concept can be called retro because they're not. They might have cues but that doesn't make them retro.

I like the Dodge Powertrain, past and preset. I pray they get lean on the body, as it seems the weight issue is a true negative; not that Camaro's can boast about being light either.

We just need less weight and equal or improved power.

That Cuda concept looks like the 2015 Aston Mustang Concept. So we might expect the 6th gen Camaro to also look like these.

Because Aston Martin has some of the worst design language right?
