I'm always interested in the thought process that goes on when choosing between a 4 seat and 2 seat performance vehicle.
If one decides on a 2 seater, were they really ever serious about buying a 4 seater?

GM has a better chance of survival than Chrysler.
I personally couldn't go to a Chrysler/Dodge dealership and buy a vehicle knowing that i might be able to steal one in a few months or not get parts in a couple of years.

I'm frustrated on delivery but this new Camaro is worth the wait. You might have a long wait for a 370Z too!! There is more room and American styling in the Camaro.

+100 to that.

Japan thanks you.

I'm sure Japan does. In all seriousness, it is a very nice car. We'll be seeing you at the track.

Go with what makes you happy, but be sure too weigh your options very carfully. Cause if you get the 370Z and you get pissed everytime you see a camaro, there is no one to blame but yourself. You can eather stick it out or change it.

I think it would be a little hypocritical to bail on the Camaro because GM may, possibley, could, if things don't turn around, might go into bankruptcy. However, that next trip you and the fiance are planning a trip you don't bat an eye or have an ounce of concern about a bankrupt airline flying you anywhere in the world.

Sounds like you can't put the attorney in his place...as a LEGAL advisor. I wish you the second best. Unfortunately, you are going to miss getting the Camaro. I regret getting rid on my '99 nearly every day, and it wasn't half the car this one is.

Let him go, i doubt he will ever put twin turbos on his 370z anyway...if he waited this this long to bail he's just a poser.

Bailing on GM is exactly what is the problem now.GM is top heavy and they need to reorganize, but they have been making great products for a number of years .don't forget 2005-2007 Chevrole outsold Toyota. GM's vehicles are as good as they have ever been.Filing bankruptcy will not put gm under, it will help them become stronger.GM is paying alot of your dad's and granddad's retirements that if they worked for toyota would have been alot less.Support our Country and buy American.Worst case senario is if I am wrong and GM folds just think how much a limited, one of a kind car like the camaro will be worth.

HAVE to chime in..

I had a customer come in over the weekend looking for data and details about the Camaro. He saw one a while back at the Epcot center (Aqua Blue 2LT) and LOVED it. Decided to get a Camaro.

Waited and waited and waited and got pissed becuse it took too long to "get a Camaro" so he bought a Challenger. He has had it TWO WEEKS and HATES it-NOW he wants to trade or SELL the Challenger and get a Camaro.

The Challenger has only 200 miles on it. He is kicking himself for NOT waiting for the Camaro. I was surprised that he did NOT like the Challenger in such a short time but, I would only get a Camaro anyway.

That being said, if you want a Camaro, then patiently wait for it, but if you are getting another car because you are pissed at GM (for being PERCIEVED as being slow) you may only be pissed at yourself in six months.

Good things come to those with patience, but GREAT things come to those who have FAITH!!
