Welcome to South Texas weather. We have been enduring that heat from May-Sept for years. And we haven't had a 2in rain since October.

So it's hot. It is frickin hot. What makes it worse? I am in the inner city of Baltimore MD doing research at Hopkins. What's worse than that? To get to the hospital I have a 30 bus ride with NO A/C .

Sorry. I know that wasn't very productive, but it's hot and I'm surrounded by sweaty people strangers. Some of which who smell.

Just another summer in Maryland. 102 in D.C. and 100 in Baltimore yesterday. 90+ today with the usual swamp-like humidity for the mid-atlantic. I LOVE it! The AC has not worked in my truck for the last two summers and that aint gonna change for this summer. I like to sweat. Bring it on!

I feel your pain, its not the heat but the humidity. Here is San Diego its about 70 degrees and sunny. Stay inside and drink plenty of beer. Doctors orders.

I was out for a drive on 10 East to the Salton Sea last year, and the temperature in the Camaro breezing down the road read 117°. When I stopped and got out, the air felt hurtful as I inhaled. Not copacetic, oh my brothers.

Great, and I'm on duty tonight which means everyone will be out downtown ready to fight and shoot at each other... I can't wait (sarcasm)
Well down side of the cool down is the May flies are out. [I know its June, they can't read a calendar anymore ]

Though not as bad as the midges that will buzz up your nose but its always like a plaque. Every street light, porch light for miles inland......has million of them around it. Are places more north that have the fire dept hosing the streets off as there are so many bugs under the street lights, the roads are worse then ice.

sliding around on bug guts.

But the scary part is the ones that go inland never get to lay their eggs.
It would be millions of times worse if more stayed on the lake.

Really? We've had the windows open past few nights. Believe me we don't want any of that stuff here. I left D/FW to get away from it.
