It's definately something I can never forget. I remember being at work, and hearing about it while I had IRC open. I remember we couldn't even get onto the news websites.
Last year I watched the special on History channel. The one thing I did forget about that really got me was the jumpers... There is nothing I could imagine being worse than deciding to jump from that height. On a side note, I drove my 2000 camry today as I think about everything, and the fact I had that car then. I do remember that Michigan State University did not cancel any classes that day. Of course no one could think about anything during that time.
