Haha, I was trying to figure out what you were talking about before. I'm watching it right now. I think he's was joking or just being an ass. From an article on the car: "To simplify, the bodies were chopped off the two 5.7-liter, LS1-powered GTOs while box frames of steel were welded up to compensate for the lost structure" |

GM realizes this liability when providing cars for movies. I remember reading somewhere Arnold Schwarzenegger totaled 8 Corvettes while filming a movie.

joking? no
being an ass in front of the rustang faithful? yes but he is right. ford does know how to build a car. built the same chassis from 79-04! and they've perfected the live axle too

If you paid close attention to Sideswipe in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, you can clearly see that GM was giving us a sneak peak at what the C7 could look like. While not identical by any stretch, the resemblance is clearly not a coincidence. If I recall, Ed Welburn even discussed that in an interview. GM gave us a preview of the ZL1 front end in T3 so I don’t think there is a doubt that we will see some hints of new GM cars and specifically the Camaro in T4...

While transformers 3 was being filmed in Hammond Indiana (cline avenue bridge) an extra (woman) in a vehicle and a cable snapped and came through the window and hit her. She survived but was pretty messed up. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/05/...ming-accident/ Ryan
