I know, I know. So far I just have one terrible photo inside the garage. I will get some glam photos when I can.

You're about 18' away from the garage wall, not sure you need that thing for parking in front of it....good looking car

Congrats - the ZL1 is a huge upgrade over the 5th gen SS. In May I drove my Dad's 2010 2SS A6 for the first time in years; first time since having the '21 ZL1 and my '22 Supra 3.0. I didn't expect it to feel anything like the ZL1, but I thought the SS would feel quicker than it did. To be frank, it felt slow. The Supra feels significantly quicker, and obviously no comparison to the ZL1. The SS (400 hp) and the Supra (claimed 382 hp but more like 410+ hp) felt far apart in acceleration, probably due to the Supra being ~550 lbs lighter, better gearing, and much less miles (tired Chevy small block, perhaps?). I guess it makes sense because Car and Driver trapped 109 mph in the auto SS and 117 mph in the Supra 3.0 ('21).

I understand, but after driving my new 2023 ZLE and new 2023 C8, both of which have the rear view camera, I've become accustomed to the setup and actually like it! You might get there, too.

Congratulations on your purchase, ZL1s are great cars , I'm glad I was able to step up from my 22 SS .
The break in period has a lot of variation in comments, consider a 500 mile Oil change and Differential service. I kept my RPMs to 4k accel / decell for 500 miles, 5k rpm til 1k , 5500rpm til 1300 miles (with a couple 6k pulls MPH varied below 80 , 1300 miles then I had fun . This is what I felt comfortable with, break in is up to you . Very good friend is a engine builder , this was his suggestion. Happy Motoring

Unfortunately the only way I could get accustomed to that mirror is to turn back time. If you’re older you can’t close focus, it’s just that simple. Sucks but that’s the way it is.

Also, this car lift is the best mod you could ever get for a ZL1 if you want to work on it |

The parking stop allows me to access the wire storage rack and tool roller that you can't see in the picture, and also to walk around the front of the car to get in. |

I have a custom plate. It says "EVGOAWY" I got it because our Tesla's is EVGOFST. It's kinda to go with that one, but also because EVs are literally every other car out here and it's fun to stir up trouble. When I'm in the Tesla, I get ice cars wanting to play, and when I'm in the Camaro I get dirty looks from EV owners. I'm on both teams

The plastidip is normal (non-gloss) black, see pics below, I think I bought it at Home Depot for $5.99, it probably costs more these days.
