And for good measure I have checked the App multiple times over the last few months to make sure it did not "magically" reactivate.
It did not.

Click on More in the lower righthand corner of the Home Page. On the next page, click on Chevrolet Smart Driver. After you Unenroll on the next page, it will change to Your Chevrolet Smart Driver Score, but show nothing. Then you’re done. You can go back to this page in the future to make sure you’re still unenrolled.

I’d guess you haven’t gone through the registration process for the app - or your dealer didn’t do it for you like he did for me (without me knowing anything about it, of course).

My sales guy didn't activate Onstar when I bought the car. He knew I had a long drive back and said "I'll email you the instructions later", which he has yet to do. I never liked the idea of Onstar, and after reading this, it will never be activated.

My Camaro was never enrolled but my GMC truck was even after I specifically asked that it not be, check it.

I signed an OnStar opt out form before I took delivery.
Never downloaded the the app either Even pulled the fuse for OnStar way too much North Korea for me.. |
