Correct, I bought the Schroth b23a kit that came with the longer safety bolts in 7/16-20 thread. I didn’t trim any plastic.. wonder if it was needed though..?

I'm sure a little. I put some sound deadening under the delete panels to help. However, I have m=not driven it yet.

See my post above with more pics (sorry..a few are sideways for some reason) 12 holes, no cutting, and the other holes utilize other factory alignment bolts and holes to place the cage in in its position. The car can be put back to normal without any major changes. body plug the holes and you'd be completely fine IMO.

See my later post showing the factory belt mounts with just slightly longer seat bolts. One of the seat bolts is long enough. the other side I used the Schroth bolts that came in the kit.

One last thing, is this their design or yours? I.e. would they alter it if a customer asked?

Theirs. Jordan is an engineer by trade and he's very receptive to feedback and changes. We made a couple tweaks for ours (we did 2 cars at once) and I gave him the harness bar idea. He ran with it and improved the strength, design, and we ended up with a great product IMO.

Hey Sean, yes we can build anything you'd like.

Thanks,

Special thanks to Jordan Best & Rosco Scott with Garage Therapy NC for the high quality cage & custom sub strap harness bars I had them build. They took an idea & made it better. Beyond pleased with their welds, fitment, powder coating quality, care in packaging, & their customer service throughout the process. These guys are killing it!! Check them out on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/garagetherapync/ Website coming soon!

Skid Mark Garage -Rear Seat Delete (modified & upholstered to work around the cage) You could also use the Schrader Performance kit.
H3R Performance HG250B 2.5lb Clean agent Fire Extinguisher
TEK208 Quick Release Aluminum Fire extinguisher Mount
GM seat belt extender ends while on track to prevent seat belt dash light.
Simpson- Hybrid Sport Hans
Schroth Racing B23A End Fitting Kits sr01324 (2 kits)

-The cage is built to meet the safety requirements set by major sanctioning bodies for HPDE/TT events such as SCCA/NASA.

-Net weight added to the car with all above came in at 59lbs!

Installing their Brake Duct Kit today.

I really like that setup with rear seat delete. I have a 6 pt RPM with swing out door bars. Very cool setup up and looks like its well thought out. Great job

Only thing I would consider adding/altering is some added bracing (X, perhaps) on the rear stanchions.

Looks great.

Just curious about no door bars. No expert here but I thought they would be required. Not knocking it at all. Don't get me wrong.

Very nice.

You are Man sized like me. Is there enough headroom for a helmet?

Did you consider a custom set of brackets to lower the seat?

Hey Mark,

Door bars are not required for HPDE/TT type events. We did not make these with the drag crowd in mind (sorry). But we can always build something custom to suit anyone's needs.

Thanks,
Jordan

The harness bar on the driver side of the roll bar bends out of plane of the main hoop to allow the seat to sit as low and as far back as possible. If you had enough headroom without the bar in, you will have enough headroom with the bar.

We are currently exploring options for another customer in regards to adding helmet clearance. So I will share that project once we wrap it up.

I just notice how you have your substrap in the above picture. Do you have it woven between the seat cushions (sitting on it, basically)?
