Haha yes this is what I'm hoping for.

the ss emblem on the seat is just a gforce gauge, the more acceleration the more branded you will be by it

The Grey inserts are in place to carry the brushed aluminum look across the entire cabin. If you hate them, you can pay a small fee at a local embroidery shop to stick in black.

I'm disappointed I can't order a 2ss with cloth seats. I despise leather seats. No matter what, in 4 years time, cloth still looks like new, leather looks old..

This right here. We had all black interiors for years (party because GM was too cheap/lazy to produce anything but monocolor interiors) and I hated it.

Agreed. I wish we could get the adrenaline red seats in cloth.

Technology advances and that includes seat material. Leather seats of today are much more wear resistant. Especially if you maintain it. GM also claims that the white seats don't stain.

If you don't like colors and get a 2SS, make sure to don't put it into show mode...

The leather in my g8 has 0 wrinkles after 6 years. I had to google if it was real leather because its just that new looking still as compared to my 95 impala ss seats that looked like garbage after 2 years and the reason why im passing on the grey interior.

Color has nothing to do with it. Its the material.

I thought the leather in my 2011 SS was pretty good, after 4 years it still looked like new. My 05 G35 had shit leather, seats looked worn and beat up after 2 years. I know some c7 Z06 owners in the beginning of the year had some issues with wrinkles in the seats, probably due to Chevy rushing them out since I haven't really heard it come up in a while.

Interior

Why would you want to remove the SS badges from the front seats? I know, to each their own.
