Nice! Did you have to take the bumper back off again or was there enough flex to sneak the tape in?

Take a closer look at the center, right under the bowtie on the trunk lid. On the first picture, the trunk lid nearly touches the rear bumper because it bulges up in the middle, while on the second pic the gap is now even along the bottom of the lid.

There is a center support bracket underneath that allows the bumper to snap into the body and is glued on very lightly. It broke off when pulling the rear bumper (it's very, very difficult to avoid that), see post #11 above: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=11

My spoiler I bought with the car came in today! So the car came with a gm satin black spoiler, charging kit, black lug nuts, black wheel locks, and a black hockey stick side decal but were not included during the purchase of the car. The deal was that Serpentini's in ohio would ship the parts to my closest dealer (Nick Crivelli). However, my first service visit was to Wright Chevrolet since Nick Crivelli's was overbooked with work. Apparently, this made all the parts bounce from NC to Wright. GRRR! Anywho, got the spoiler done today and have some pics of the process posted below.
Removing the old spoiler was a PITA with all the old double sided tape. Got it off with fishing line and being very gentle with some putty knives to break the seal. These little tails to the new double sided tape made putting the new spoiler on really easy. Just rest the new piece in place and pull on the tabs and press down. |

Spent a couple bucks at the car wash for a quick shine and some flex pics.

Brought my BMW 343 summer wheels out of hibernation today. Had to fix a little curb rash on the left front so I ended up repainting the drivers side wheels. Also, in order to run these on the camaro, I have a set of hubcentric rings and 20mm wheel spacers up front. Only modification needed is to cut off the nubs to the front wheel stubs so the rim will fully seat on the front spacers.

Now for the bootay pics. Rears are 295/35-20 and the fronts are 275/35-20.
Some other news is I have an appointment scheduled for 4/29 to have the hood wrapped in 3m matte black film . Only other asthetic mod planned is to paint all the calipers red. |

Wow. The new rear spoiler and wider rear tires have totally transformed your new LT1. The wrapped hood will look nice as well.

Thanks guys! It's pretty much getting the same treatment as my last car. Anybody have any recommendations for caliper paint? Was going to spring for the G2 brush on paint but having a hard time finding any reviews that aren't bots.
Another note, I just got invited to take the car to the road track at Pitt Race in wampum next month on the 20th. If I can find some dog sitters this might have to happen. |

Hood wrap went on last friday. Haven't really had any great weather for some shined up pics but the phone filters hid most of the dirt. No Limit Automotive in Beaver Falls Pa worked on the car and they did a nice job.
