It’s more about the right thing to do. They kept parts and didn’t even give me the LPO ordered engine cover. Someone in the future returning their car back to stock may want to buy/trade for parts. I modded my last Gen6 very heavily and could always need spare parts and parts to trade. Not modding this one as much as the last one, when I traded in my car I had to buy stock parts when I took off some mods. I never kept the stock stuff, this time I will.
