Roll the windows all the way down. Fold down the back seat. Pull the fuse. Put the car in track mode and Sport1 or Sport2. Let it rip. Drop back down to second and gun it again. Their neck will hurt and their ears will be impressed.

That was the stability control saving your ass

Be in a low speed then step on it. The sudden onslaught of torque should be enough to throw everyone and everything in the car to the back of the seat.

HATE the E-break button. Freaking sucks. It's slower than hand brake, I can't ebrake, blows.

I can't believe no one suggested the OP use launch control from a dead stop. That'll do it!

I have posted it here before, but my personal experience with riders in my Camaros is that this car feels tame compared to my 12 1SS M6 and 15 1SS M6. My wife actually teared up and asked me to never go WOT again with our 15 because it felt so fast and out of control. It ran 13.2 at 108 on the same track that the 16 does 11.8 at 118. I can go WOT with the 16 at any time and she doesn't even bat an eye.

So kudos to GM for creating a fast smooth car with a wide powerband. But it won't "impress" a passenger compared to a high revving peaky HP type car with a stick shift even though it might be a full second or two faster in the 1/4.
My wife and son both have said my 17 ss 6m pushes them in the seat much more than my A8 ss did. I barely got a reaction in the A8 ss at wot as it was much "smoother" like you said.
The manual feels more direct and violent. From the drivers seat it feels a little stronger to me in gear vs the a8 in gear shifting manually but not night and day.

Anyway put it in track mode in 1st gear around 15-20 let off gas and then punch it for a more violent effect.
If that doesn't work trade for a tesla p100d to get their attention
