I doubt you will get anywhere near 500rwhp with said mods. I think 450-460 on mustang is more realistic.
Either way I will have those same mods tuned at cunningham motorsports this Monday "prey ported throttle body and intake manifold, stainless works headers and full exhaust no cats, rotofab cai dry filter and e85." i'll post back what I get.

I'm guessing 440-450 but hoping 460, I have the A8

There have been several FBO 6th gens in the 470-480whp range(Rotofab dry) with his mods on E85 including Prays ported IM/TB. Either way dyno numbers don't mean much anyway for making comparison across the internet. Start with a baseline, if you gain 80whp from these mods, then you are right in the ball park.

Lots of guys getting dyno done in 5th gear. Actually I see this in most cases. This will show about 25rwhp less than 6th gear which is 1:1.

Willing to bet most guys who think they have low numbers got dyno done in 5th gear.

FBO E85 and in 6th gear 480-500 rwhp is the norm. I have actually never seen a true FBO 6th gen. Nobody makes an EWP. Under drive crank pullies haven’t been out long. I’m sure I’m missing something

5th gear should show higher numbers than 6th due to the numerically higher gear ratio.

It’s lower by about 25 rwhp

Been proven numerous times

Here’s one from just the other day. Same dyno same day same car

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=520831

28 rwhp more in 6th.

The a8 cars can dyno well into the 400s stock in 6th gear and not much less than a manual. People perceive the auto as being a lot less because of most dynos are done in 5th with the auto. 6th gear spins too high of mph for a lot of dynos so many shops use 5th. Shops who have done both auto and manual same dyno and day show 10 rwhp or less difference if the a8 is in 6th

You are right. Looks like the difference is from additional efficiency losses that more than offset the corrections made by the dyno program.

Out of curiosity, what speed does 6th in the M6 run out to? I'd like to call my local dyno in advance to ensure they can support it to get a proper 1:1 reading.

I’m not exactly sure why and I was surprised too.

I wanna say it’s somewhere around 180 mph for the auto in 6th

But you have a manual. I think 4th gear is 1:1 and somewhere around 140 mph
