I expect this poll to be skewed towards to the newer models because many people that owned the earlier models either don't have them anymore or don't post much here anymore. The reason there's so many 23's on here is because most of the people that bought them probably just joined the forum recently because of it.

Just something to consider since this poll is showing exactly this.

Fair point. I noticed the numbers so far are skewed toward the newer models as well.

Or they upgraded to a newer model because they wanted a different color/convertible/transmission type/etc....

Possibility too, either way, I expect this poll to be very skewed towards newer models and not really representative of actual ownership as much as current forum ownership.

I have a 2017 M6 coupe. My car was assembled on 10/20/2016. As best as I can tell that week was the first production run for the 6th gen ZL1. Only coupes with the six-speed manual transmissions were produced during this initial run. If I remember correctly, the 10-speed autos and convertibles didn't start production until February 2017.

If you pay close attention to the window sticker, you'll notice there is no Gas Guzzler tax. GM left off the Gas Guzzler tax on the initial run of window stickers. A memo was sent to all dealers not to sell any more 6th-gen ZL1s until new window stickers could be issued. My ZL1 literally came off the truck at noon on November 10, 2016, and was in my garage by 8 PM that evening so it was purchased before the dealership received any memo. Technically I got a $1300 discount thanks to a GM screw-up.

I also traded in a 5th-generation ZL1 Convertible for my 6th gen coupe.

The difference in the two generations was like night and day. The 6th gen was a significant upgrade in my opinion.

I've got the Orange one Unfortunately my build sheet is a replica so it doesn't have their details on it.

Sounds like it the red and the white were still available. I choose white.

They didn’t have my original build sheet so I found it on the look up site that everyone’s using. I don’t have it offhand.
