Me, too. They have little business reason to review an SS 1LE almost 6 years later.

Savageese has reviewed older cars/models sometimes, like the C5 or C6 Z06 far after production. So if they can review a noteworthy car like that, why not the SS 1LE? It's been a benchmark for the past 7 years and deserves it!

No I'm pretty sure they would like to review one, it's one of the most common requested comparisons especially when looking at the new mustang dark horse.
Btw that channel doesn't operate purely on 'business rationale' , they're pure car guys and seem to review as many enthusiast cars as possible.

I always wondered whether him not reviewing the SS 1LE had to do with being able to get a car. Throttle House did many videos with the SS 1LE, and for a long time they were using an owner car I think because it had the same license plate (a black one that was then wrapped blue). Maybe someone near him could volunteer their car. Although now that it's getting into winter months, and with production ending, might not work out.
I am holding out that we get super lucky though, and they do one of their awesome long format videos for the Camaro, like the one that they did for the Corvette. The problem with this is that it requires manufacturer support, and I think a lot of us have our gripes about GM and the way that they've supported the Camaro over the years. |
