Damn.
Not a lot of words that matter a whole bunch in these moments - but I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your letter to your dad. It definitely makes me think about my own dad, and my son, and the role we all play in one another's lives. Some genuine introspection is always valuable, and if we're willing to be honest with ourselves the legacy of great men has a lot help highlight what we might want to change about our own lives. It's a sobering reminder for me, and I hope it serves others that read it the same. Best wishes for you family.
