I was thinking about drilling a hole in the side of evaporator box to spray it directly. Just not sure where the best spot to drill the hole. Anyone have pics of the box on the inside?
0. Purchase HVAC disinfectant spray. Follow directions on the spray, and/or do the following:
1. Clear the condensate drain line.
2. Remove cabin air filter and discard.
3. Clean blower fan while filter is out.
4. Also while filter is out, start the car, open the doors and roll down the windows. Turn on the HVAC. Spray the cleaner into the opening where the filter normally goes. Set to full cold, repeat. Set to full hot and repeat. Cycle through various vent modes and repeat.
5. Turn HVAC and car off and install new filter.
