It is satin vinyl you cannot polish it. If you do then you will have a gloss vinyl. Scratches and anything permanent in the wrap cannot be remvoed by polish unless you want it to be gloss. Its probably some AI reply but dont ever polish it. Treat the hood like you do with anything else on the car Minus polishing and NO tar remover as that will make it fail quickly as it will attack the adhesive on the sides if it starts to get under it OHH and dont wax it with a paste wax unless its a high quality one that will leave no white residue. Most likely if its a cheap paste wax it could make it look chalky. To be safe stick with a spray sealant or spray ceramic and will be good

3 year DD never had an issue with car wash shampoo, a sponge and an Absorber. Never used a specialized product and my wrap looked IMHO brand new.

Soap and water. So long as it doesn't get shiny.

I bought mine with 1700 miles and someone before me tried to wax it I think because I have pretty noticeable white/dull areas in a couple of spots. I have been using Chemical Guys VRP and it brings back the black.

I put turtle wax hybrid ceramic detailer on mine and it turned out great. Looks more satin now than matte which is what I wanted.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Chemical Guys makes a Matte Detailer spray that works pretty well post wash or just to keep clean. It wipes dry without any streak or swirls and keeps the stock finish.

And, overall, been pretty happy with the TW Hybrid Ceramic product line. Use it on both Camaros now as well as wife's new Traverse. Easy to use, good results, and relatively easy on the wallet.
