First build according to my dealer is 10/10-16 that's the day the first 2017 ZL1 rolls on the assembly line ...

Depending on location in Canada/USA you could see it shorty after.

The big factor / issue is if "your" dealer gets their allocation ...
Considering the limited number of options since it comes standard with practically everything that's good news for those looking to pick up a car. The color will be the biggest thing that makes one car more unique than the other.

Something tells me many dealers will want to display red hot and hyper blue.

Should your dealer be lucky enough to get one of the initial allocations and with you right across the border you may get that chance and month in! Good luck!

I hope the same for you brother. I'm even considering winter tires so I can test the car out this winter and see if it's viable to DD in the future. My current car has 1/4 mil kilometres but hoping for 350k before something expensive goes.

I'm sure most of you feel the way I do. The timing of this all really stinks. It's like putting up a pool in November. Not gonna get a lot of use from that. SMH

Yeah. For those of you guys in the north east , Canada and Michigan etc... We r all in the same boat.. If the MXO holds mine up I'll only want it end of March first of April... Can't deliver a car with those tires between end of Dec and end of Feb anyways. Lol

What was last year like for you two? Our November December was almost summer. We didn't get snow until about December 28th. If we get a similar year it would mean 6,7,8weeks of driving. Please lord.

The winter was mild. It's not just the temperature though. I don't drive the good car if there's salt on the roads. The streets take on a chalk covered appearance for several months and that just gets picked up and thrown everywhere. The good cars don't go anywhere till all that is rinsed away by heavy rain in the spring.

I just know I'm going to be annoyed by purchasing it now.

Ain't that the truth, I live in Northern Maine on the border of New Brunswick and I took deliver of my 2SS last March... I almost shit myself on the 3 hour ride back

I won't be doing that with the ZL1 this time, I'll probably end up ordering it in Feb.

My dealer confirmed NB2017ZL1 post. The potential delay would apply to UK customers.

Chicago area was fairly mild last year as well. It got pretty bad a couple days, but it wasn't weeks and months on end like it can be.

Hopefully that will remain the same this year as well.

Well if you think about it. The delivery timing might ease the production do to the fact that some might wait until next year to order do to the winter season. Us down south don't have that issue so there will be more orders in the warmer parts of the states.

The winter prediction model came out earlier this week and they are saying colder than normal and slightly above average snow fall. Doesn't sound like a repeat of last year. Hopefully it won't be like the 3 years ago.

Oh goody, here's hoping they're off the mark.

I don't want to see another Lake Shore Drive closure to bad that we can walk on it.

GM technically kept the promise of a fall availability, but it looks unlikely that too many people will have this sitting in their driveway by the end of the 2016 calendar year.
