A while ago, I was worried to some extent about what GM would do with the non-V8 versions of the Camaro. I was thinking, how can they sell an Alpha Camaro with the same powertrains as a built-at-the same-factory-Alpha ATS for $10-$12K less? Sure, I know that Cadillac is going after a different buyer, and there are differences in interior materials and all that, but still, something's gotta give, right? Lately, though, I've come to believe that it's not going to be an issue at all. Sales of the ATS & CTS are pretty anemic as it is right now (and it's hard to imagine them dropping much lower), so no one at GM will credibly be able to claim that the existence of a cut-rate Alpha vehicle in the form of a Camaro is in any way a problem for the company. In fact, and I've said this before, with low ATS & CTS sales, the Lansing factory needs a hit product. And that is positive in terms of ensuring that GM does right by the Camaro. |

There is no rationing of gas in Germany but it is very expensive. Speeding cameras are real but you learn where they are. Autobahn is a real adrenalin rush if traffic is light. I lived there briefly in 2008 and spend six weeks each year in Stuttgart area so I love that country.

Every time I see a pic of the back I think the back glass is a wrap around style (like a late 70's Camaro) and the camo is just covering that part up.

There are at least three different camaro "styles" there.
The 1st has the lower splitter extension on a v8, then another v8 starts at 0:24 without the splitter, then the non-v8

That's just the wind getting underneath the camo , you can see it waving around as it fills with air

The bubble in the camo is probably a sunroof car with the sunroof open. In the video, there is one with a reverse mohawk and one without - the reverse mohawk is probably for non-sunroof cars like the 2010-2015s.

I'm sure there was good reason for Tran to pull my post on this video, I'll take credit for posting first.
The video I posted a link to shows a bit of the auto transmission in the begging, which is missing in this thread. Wondering if any experts here can tell if that is their new "dct-like" tranny that is in stingray. http://vimeo.com/109012956 Also, the author suggests that the Camaro will come out with vert in MY2016, and that it will be hard top vert. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...maro-spy-video |

Anyone else notice the location of the rear caliper has changed? Not like that really means anything, just thought I'd point that out.

Interesting, never noticed. What position were the rear calipers in before? This setup here seems consistent with most high performance applications.
