Blue/Black.... I don't think people realize this because there aren't many 19's out there, but the wheels I ordered(Carbon flash) and rally strips are both black metallic. The metal flake in both, along with the flake in the blue, looks awesome glistening in the sun and ties the look of the car together really well. I did not know my wheels were actually black metallic until I saw them in person. BTW...I opted to take my chances with the Po Po and not have my front license plate bracket mounted. It really changes the look of the front end...

Although it looks dorky, the panel/grill directs the incoming air exactly where the engineers want it to go for aero reasons. If left wide open, all that high-pressure air going into the engine compartment would cause real handling problems. The air needs to flow around the body, not through it, with just enough getting in for engine-cooling requirements. Of course, a completely redesigned front end would have been better, but federal bumper standards and lighting requirements - plus Ford’s bean counters - made that a non-starter. For them, a plastic block-off plate was the only reasonable (economical) solution. |

I can't really give a good opinion yet. Haven't driven it much... only 222 miles so far, and I'm taking it easy with break in. It shifts quick and very smooth. I've done a few 3-4k pulls and it feels very strong! Just figured out how to get it to do the backfire pop thru the exhaust.... love that sound!! Borla Atak axle back going on Tuesday....

The GT350 looks way better than the 19SS to me. Not even close. These are all opinions anyhow of course. No one is right or wrong. No matter how ugly, someone will always migrate to certian car.
If you pay attention, that GT350 has a lot of resemblance to the old Cobra front ends. Guess they are mud suckers too. I would own either one of those bottom feeders and be happy to do so. |
