Just went to pick mine up from the dealer - they were installing the splash guards and I sent it back - I could see the tape! No way I'm letting a shitty install job ruin my $50,000 car! That's just ridiculous. Not sure I'm ok with the splash guard paint job either...

They also installed the "cargo net". Haha that may be the most ridiculous thing I purchased. Cargo lol.

The splash guards come painted from warehouse. I've not seen any hyper blue ones yet. Mine came out fine for my car.

And yeah send it back and make sure it's done right, don't blame you.

And yeah the cargo net on these is smaller than in the 5th gen.

Oh and the tire WAS losing pressure, it wasn't just a bad sensor, it had a bad seal on the pressure sensor.

That happened to my truck shortly after I got it. Had to get tpms replaced.

Glad they caught it before became issue.

Yeah twice the tire went low and I've only driven it a sad 146 miles. So I figured something was wrong and asked them to look at it while I bright it in for the splash guards.

So I'm continuously impressed with my dealership. They pulled my car back up and said sorry about that, we ordered new splash guards for you, keep these on in the meantime and we will replace when they come in. Of course this is the right thing to do but then just doing it without me asking felt good.

I can't post multiple photos for some reason so I'll have to post in 3 posts. Only one of the 4 guards is good. Here is the first one, where there is a huge gap and you can see the tape. Crappy phone pic. And it's posting sideways for some reason.

I finally got around to giving her the first wash. Dealer didn't wash it per my request and the paint looks excellent. I can't wait until I have time to give it a proper polish and waxing.

I used Adam's foam gun with their blue soap and their wash pad. I then hit the car with IronX and finished it off with Adam's guard and gloss. This was the first time using IronX and guard and gloss. Both worked great. The IronX seemed to really react on the horizontal sections while the vertical section s weren't too bad.
