Good evening crew. Another dreary, busy day but I actually managed to get all my notes written before leaving AND got to leave a little early. I'll take that as a pretty good day. My daughter is supposed to get in sometime this evening. Mike tried to talk her into waiting until daytime to load up my mother's china cabinet & dining room table. But alas, she is still too young to think we have any sense. I hope she does not mess it up. My mother kept it pristine, not the slightest mark on it. Kids! Oh, well what can you do? Have a good evening & rest well everyone.

I volunteered to work some OT tomorrow now I don't want to go in LOL. I guess I am stuck now I can't let my boss down after I said I would. I want to try and take down my outdoor Christmas decorations tomorrow as it will be near 60 tomorrow and most of the snow has melted. So between work and home I will be on ladders all day tomorrow. I just noticed yesterday on here that I will probably be hitting my 1000th post on here this weekend.

LBM, glad your friend is getting better. I keep seeing stuff on the news about the flu. And they say there is a strain of it going around that the flu vaccine wasn't designed to protect against.

Weather. It snowed here most of the day yesterday. They sent us home from work early yesterday cuz they were afraid of the roads. Today, I got a text message from the college's automated system saying the school was closed for the day - don't come in to work. I'm fine with that except if I don't work, I don't get paid. And I don't get paid much as it is. :( There is roughly 14" of cold white stuff in my driveway right now. That doesn't seem like a big deal to me. We've had higher accumulations and still gone in to work and to school.

Classes start next week. I only have one class left to graduate. I happened to run into the instructor in the hall yesterday. We started talking about his class. He said it will be the hardest class I've yet taken for my degree. I've had two other instuctors say that about their class.

Y'all have a great day. Be careful on the roads out there.

Miss Sally.... where are the promised pics of your engine cover???

They say divorce can be harder than the death of a loved one... which it kind of is. I feel for ya, but I just can't encourage you one way or the other, but it will all work out ok..... that I know.

OUCH!!!!!! That looks like it HURT! Glad they are both fine now though.

I'll have to look for a pic when I get home. I'm having a slow & boring day. But I get to get off early & my daughter will be there when I get home. She surprised me though. She called earlier & was loading up the table and, Hummmmmmmmm, it is daylight. I'm sure she will never admit her dad was right though. Probably will say they were delayed & got in too late. LOL. Kids! (even 33 yo kids)

Those kids in the classes I take wonder what in the world an ol geezer like me is doing there. I just tell em what it was like to ride a dinosaur to school in the good ol days. (parking wasn't a problem back then. and you can bet no-one keyed your ride!!!!)
