However- You have an awesome build, your skills are downright impressive and you have access to a shop to do this which is a major advantage. If I had access to you direct when I have issues, then this may make sense.

For the avg guy who farms this work out - and you should - and then inevitably adds more expensive parts - because you will - you are a few $1000 from a 2017 ZL1. Pricing came out recently. 650 HP, no fiddling and you are 100% covered.

I just dont get why people spend so much money to try and make something thats already available. If there was a 20 grand difference, then yes...but not in this case. Just an opinion, Im probably in the minority, but thats OK.
I think part is a maker mentality. You wanna be involved with building the car up vs buying something already built. Part is bragging rights. It's much more meaningful in circles to say you did this and that to the car vs "i bought a stock ..." even if the stock car is the same power.

I'm not sure many of the people looking to buy a car and mod it up new are going to be concerned too much about warranty coverage.

1ss camaro is $39,000 ish (mine was $41k ish after ttl with npp exhaust and some other minor bs I didn't care about)

expect this kit to be at or around the same as a centrifugal blower kit.

That makes a total price of at or around $45,000 ish and that is way lower than a zl1

I paid $35k for my 1ss. If I modded it till I have $65k in it the thing better have 1200hp and run 8's.

It that there is anything wrong with buying a zl1. I wish I had the money for one.

Parish, great price for a 1ss. I've seen your builds, you'll be in the 10's in no time.

Final version y pipe tacked up by the prototype old y pipe. Nevermind the ugly blocky brace on the prototype. That was welded on the car for fixturing purposes.

Waiting on some machining to finish the final version boost pipe.

Should have all exhaust components finished fabbing within the next 10 days or so then off to powder coating

Final turbine flange machined with built in wg port. 100% billet for perfection lol nevermind the brace bolts were put on the wrong side and had to be cut off and welded back on... Fixed it in the design so when we release in the following weeks it will be good.

Looks good. I built a rear mount for my c5 vette. Only downside was the filter location didn't give me much confidence to drive the car in heavy rain.

for final I am likely to put the filter up inside the rear bumper. There is tons of room in there

In contact with a couple of custom silicone hose manufactures for getting some of the charge piping done out of silicone. Likely the tb to intercooler pipe is the main one.
