I haven't seen mine in person yet, but Becky has, and I am going to pick it up Friday!! (Becky and Rodgers are nearly 7 hours away.....) Here is the thread Becky started with pics:

Damn it was fun tracking it with OnStar. I noticed on Tuesday that it had moved 10 miles or so in Lansing without any miles on the odo. Google earthed the location and could see it was sitting in a transport lot so I knew it was getting close - and yesterday when I refreshed and saw it was on the hwy to Becky I nearly spit out my coffee in the middle of a Board mtg at work!!

Post up your pics as yours start to show up.....I think they are all going to start getting delivered this week and next!

(SimMan - stay in touch....I'm serious about getting together when I am down at the NCM track this summer.)

I hope you are correct. If mine ever moves it will take, what will seem like, forever for the trip out to the east coast. You are certainly maintaining a positive attitude. Me, not so much. Of course, once our cars arrive, this will all be forgotten. It is cool to see others getting there cars!

Just got back from my dealership with great news. My rep contacted DBC Order Fulfillment and they place my car as "last seen" yesterday evening in Ottawa Yard, OH.

They have an ETA for rail head Las Vegas of 4/9. So my worry about getting it before leaving for Europe is of no concern.

So it's finally on the way. Now I just have to hope that I can get private offer in the meantime.

First he asked me to sign the paperwork, then when I wouldn't he pulled up a vehicle summary that showed the car clearing the random QA audit on 2/18, then being flagged for a possible clutch issue on 2/25 which couldn't be duplicated, then cranking but failing to start or stalling on 3/15 with a camshaft position DTC code. Not good at all, but at least I understand why it hasn't shipped now. Not what I would call held for Quality Validation (what customer service told me), but certainly held for quality reasons. I do know I'd rather have the factory working on it than the dealership, though.

I'm not sure how serious these issues may turn out to be, but I'm hoping to get more information out of the plant on Tuesday (closed Monday for Easter), then it may be decision time whether to start over or not. Since the car is built and I imagine will eventually go to the dealer I'm not sure whether I can get my deposit back or not. Depending on how all this shakes out I may end up requesting a Becky allocation.

Further update: Not going to waste everyone's time with all the details, but I received assurance and documentation today that the issues on the vehicle summary the dealer showed me were service notifications issued on those dates for all M6 SS Camaros built in the same time frame, basically requesting that the dealer notify the engineering team at the factory if the customer made those exact complaints. Nothing specific to my car. I have no idea why he told me they were, but I guess either I totally misunderstood him or he didn't understand the summary himself. On the negative side they admitted that for no good reason they just hadn't shipped it yet, but did promise to expedite that immediately. I feel much better about the car now and just hope I get it soon.
