It's pushing 5 months and we don't know anything about the car. This is annoying.

I mean I feel like we know a lot about the car.

Do you mean specifically you don't know how much it will cost and when you can get it?

Because I think those are the only two bits of information we don't have yet.

I think he means we haven't' gotten an ounce more of information since the February reveal. We haven't even seen the car in any other colors outside of Black. The green was a concept color that won't even be available.

For weight/accelration/quart mile I think we should expect stuff that looks very similar to a standard SS. I'd be surprised if the 1LE ran much faster than the standard SS. I believe it's the same gearing and same HP, I think if they were taking a bunch of weight out of the car they would have made some comments touting that when the car was announced.

We don't have lap times yet but didn't they give some rough estimates of how much faster the 1LE was running versus the current SS or something like that?

I think if we knew price, everything frustrating would melt away and people could start deciding if this car offers what they want for the price they are selling it for.

Without knowing the price everyone is just paralyzed.

The quotes I saw were that the new gen6 1SS with MRC and manual trans was running comparable lap times to the gen5 1LE. They said the gen6 1le was about 3 seconds faster around big willow than the gen6 SS. The 1LE is all about massive grip and being able to push it through the corners quicker. If you actually track your car or have the roads to fully exploit the performance then it will be worth the wait and cost. If you want all the bells and whistles then and are not so concerned with lap times then the 2SS with MRC and NPP should fit the bill.

+1

Also would like to see it in some other colors, they have to have a few more test mules out there, or pre production vehicles.

There seem to be a lot of people on here waiting on any info or pictures before they decide to either pull the trigger on a 1SS or 2SS vs. holding off for a 1LE. Why not throw us a bone GM you have our intrest

Currently drive a 2014 Coyote Mustang. This car really has my attention... I have been trolling the forums for awhile before I created account. Anxiously looking forward to get some more information on this car.

I have always gravitated towards GM performance cars because of their focus on being real drivers cars (steering feedback, siting lower, raised dash, narrow sight lines, killer gearbox) My Mustang was ok alot of these things but never was GREAT. I drove a 6th Gen SS with Mag Ride and was fairly impressed by the ride quality and general improvements in the interior.

Came this || close to picking up a clean FD RX7 this weekend but chickened out due to the AC not working and the sellers inability to supply compression numbers. Getting impatient over here.
