I work at the dealership I bought it from and can access the internal event log.

Mine didn't show an ETA either until the day it shipped. This is just a log of events that have already occurred.

Dont sell yourself short.
You do not need to polish the paint to apply a coating if you are happy with the condition of the paint. I would just do a Iron remover and Tar remover decontamination if you dont want to clay.
Give it a good bath after. wipe it down with a panel wipe and do the coating. Save yourself the crazy amount of cash.
If you where local id do it for you for under $500
that would be clay/polish/coat

I just got a text msg from my salesman to show the VIN VIEW of the car and it says that my car is in Toledo at the Transco Railway , it's going to Quebec, is it normal ?

I got my first email from Chevy today after asking 4 times for email updates. It was useless but at least they sent me something so I didn’t have to call. Still no ETA, car has been “produced” for 8 weeks.

For what its worth, I've noticed quite a few Camaros being delivered to dealers in the last week or so, SS's, 1LE's & ZL1's. Seems like there's finally at least some kind of movement happening.

Mine has been sitting at 4300 since it was built 5/18 an hasnt budged. My understanding is 4300 is in between shipments an is just sitting awaiting to be picked up
