Certainly the initial C7 braking tests were shorter than that - I clearly remember one being as low as 99 feet, the others were about 101-102. I haven't followed the latest reviews though.

I must say I am kindof upset.
Camaro ZL1 0 - 60 is 3.9 sec 1/4 mile 12.0 sec. With a good tire 11.7/11.8

Super exciting news! I still can't get over automatics being quicker than sticks. I believe I will stay with the manual though. I feel more connected to the driving experience. Glad they make both.
I'm thinking...2SS, magnetic suspension, and upgraded exhaust. Can't decide about sunroof.

My point exactly. The SS is priced way lower. But it's cool, I still need to see the car in person before I make a decision. Don't get me wrong I'm loving what they are doing but damn it...

2SS here, but non-MRC, non sunroof, 6MT.
GM, well done. I just hope I fit in it with a helmet. --kC |

This is exactly my concern. My Shelby has tons of headroom and with my helmet on, it gets tight.
This car looks very promising. I keep thinking I'm gonna miss the power I have now in my Shelby but when I think about it, I never get to use all of it. It's just too ridiculous for the street and you're at "go to jail" speeds in seconds. This car will probably feel very slow at first, but everything else about it seems to be better than the Shelby, except for exclusiveness. |

Yeeeeeeeah, but BMW has an excuse - they're BMW.
GM doesn't have an excuse. Moore's law states that as technology advances it will get smaller, faster, and cheaper to produce. I see the smaller and faster, but not the cheaper. Stuff like dual zone climate control should have been standard in the 5th gen, but the technological limitations of the old Zeta platform probably prohibited it. It should be standard on all trims in the 6th gen. Without adding cost. Because I guarantee you the cost of the hardware and software for the dual zone climate control module is less now than the manual HVAC system was in 2010-2015. Both the fact it actually requires fewer parts and the company that sources it for GM is building hundreds of thousands of them for other manufacturers. |

That's the one area where the 6G appears to show very little improvement unfortunately. I will certainly give it a chance but if it's still bunker city I'll probably look elsewhere.
