question - how long does it usually take to go from 1100 status to 2000? Does the size of the dealer have anything to do with it? I ordered mine from a local dealership here, good guys apparently and people rave about their buying experience with them.

The dealership needs allocation from GM before GM will accept orders from them. If the dealership sells a lot of one type of vehicle, they are likely to get allocation for more of those vehicles and vice versa. Therefore; It could be a wonderful dealership... but if they don't sell too many Camaro's it's unlikely they will receive allocation for 2017's right away. I had my order through another dealer without allocation, and waited about 3 weeks before I cancelled and ordered through Becky. I just wasn't willing to wait any longer! |
