VINs may not be sequential but the lower number came off the line before the higher numbers. Just had a few Cadillacs and other Camaros mixed in.

Thats crazy! Very cool! Im 199324 which is way higher than the 3048 zl1 total based on those first buil vins. It would seem impossible to calculate a build with any accuracy.

Correct.... unless you were in the very 1st batch there is really no way. They could have numbered them like the 5th Gen Z/28 and Z/L1 which also had other cars on the line but this was a different plant and the decision was made not to.

Figure a few hundred cars a day coming out of that plant per day it's crazy to try and figure this stuff out.

Oh he knows. Lol! He went to the track with me the first few times and witnessed me run a few of my 11.1s in the summer heat, so he got on board with me real quick, and started telling me if I could manage to cut one of my low 1.7 60's in some good cool air, I'd run a 10. So he went from no way, to you'll do it. Lol!

That's so cool that they gave you a matching watch!! They should've done that for the first 50. If HyperBlueX2 is really #23, going on the average number of ZL1s built between your VIN and his, I could actually be #24, which would be pretty cool, as Jeff Gordon was my favorite driver. I may have to message GM and see if they'll tell me.

only 4% of the 3048 were Garnet red (without giving exact number). They just replied to my email.

Garnet red is a gorgeous color. Very classy and weird that it was that rare. Congrats for those people driving that car. Rare and classy indeed. I like the Krypton in a way but obvious why it's rare as you either love it or hate it. I'm sure those that have it love it!

You have to email them. 3048 ZL1s and 1813 (i think) A10's. But if you want your specific color you email them at gmhc@gm.com but they dont have complete break downs except for krypton green. So you can find out how many garnet tint coat A10'S. Just the total.
