The changes/upgrades were in using a better lid that offered more flow and better cooling for the ZL1 LSA engine.

Exhaust probably helped some too.

Should be something special. Also as an optional class V hitch.
We all know dealers get the information first, so he has to be right!

My dealer says it's a quadruple Turbo with S/C hybrid rated at 1967 HP.

I don't foresee this car having that issue. It would be huge if they increased the SC to a 1.9L or 2.3L to help, but I don't think that will happen.
CTS-V is not completely immune to heatsoak issues either

We're all so fickle. A couple of days ago we were all ranting about the spoiler. Now a lot of us, myself included, just want to know when we'll be able to put down our deposit. Lol

So it comes already crashed into a tree from the factory?

Okay, I'm going to throw this out there.. GM and Ford are collaborating on a joint 10 speed auto trans. What are the chances this car debuts it? Pure speculation on my part.

A z07 package equivalent offered for the ZL1 would be swell.

So lets do a run down of what I think the the ZL1 will have.

-Supercharged V8 likely the 650HP LT4
-Automatic and Manual trans options
-6piston front, 4piston rear brakes (1LE) maybe optional Carbon Ceramics.
-MRC Suspension (1LE)
-Electronic Limited Slip Differential
-NPP exhaust as standard
-Unique Hood, Front Fascia, Side Skirts, Rear Valance and Spoiler
-Wide wheels and tires. 20X10(285's) and 20X11(305's) or larger (1LE)
-Alcanterra interior touches (1LE)
-Alcanterra Steering Wheel, Heated
-Recaro Performance Seat optional (1LE) with heated and vented functions
-Performance Data Recorder (1LE)
-Flowtie

6 Piston 14.5-15" front brakes

Heat extractor hood

It's for sure the LT4, the final power rating is the only question.

Can only be bought in the bright green that GM has been showing off lately, best if driven drunk, runs on corned beef and cabbage mixed with some Guinness, gets you involved in bets you can never win, and comes with a leprechaun riding shotgun since he's too big to fit in the rear seats or trunk.

Could have been worse. It was close to being the Camaro ZL1 Pi Day edition. Boring.

(Btw, St. Patricks day is the 17th, not tomorrow. )
