After reading this thread I've come to the conclusion that the OP doesn't like his camaro, doesn't like people that own camaros and doesn't like to be in a group. Maybe he should sit at home in a dark room by himself.

IBTL...

I'm not even sure what you are referring to exactly. I was addressing to "Maroboy2001" as to why I posted here initially instead of talking to this crowd.

Instead of trying to max out your smiley use, why don't you back it up and try to understand the situation:

1. I said these people have "5th gen" shirts. I have no idea if they are affiliated with chitown5thgen.com or 5thgen.org or chitowngen5.com or Ilikecheeseburgers.com. Only a few had shirts on and I didn't really care to get a close look at who they are affiliated. So for a couple different people to write me some Public Relations wall-o-text about charities and policies and what-not doesn't mean much to me, because I can't say with certainty exactly what group they are a part of. All I saw was a shirt about "5th gen".

2. Again... for the fifth time now?... This is not my car show, nor am I the rule-enforcer for the show. I have no impact on how the show is managed. I simply posted my opinion on the situation and people who act in such a way that I feel is detrimental to the event. Period.

3. What is the purpose of my correspondence? I have said my piece. And given point 1 and 2, what is the outcome of me reaching out to someone I don't know and who I can't confirm their particular affiliation was involved? I called them a "crew" and/or "crowd" because I don't know what "club" they are a part of.

I could care less that you've now directed your rant at Maroboy... I'm talking about your Original Post and the Olive branch extended to you by FIGRRL and KidKilowatt. They obviously know who you are so there's no need to hide and say it may or maynot be their club. You haven't even had the balls to speak to either of them since they came on and tried to explain their club and position on this.

If I were you I'd be seriously embarrassed right now that you were found on the internet bashing them...

There is so much contradiction in this thread....

I'm always right. You're always wrong. My way it the best, My perspective it the most accurate.

The only people who seem to have any genuine enthusiasm for the Camaro are those that can respect the way others choose to show their own enthusiasm. There is NO right way to be an enthusiast...

Be a grown adult and decide for yourself what is your preferred way to be an enthusiast. Seek out those that agree with you and be respectful of those that chose to celebrate their Camaro in a different way.

Check the rules page of the site... I'm pretty sure we don't have a section entitled "public displays of enthusiasm"

Our inability to see through someone else's eyes or even be tolerant of their perspective is astounding...

and depressing.
