It is quite shameful. It is 2016 and you can track a $10 internet order from birth to delivery.
If not for Becky, most of us would have no real support. I am thankful that she is here to help us.
Hopefully , Chevrolet is equally grateful and will step up their customer service game.
In this age of "the Internet of Things", this should be much easier.

this is crazy but.....would it help if a bunch of us call GM with your order number and raise hell...promising not to buy GM products anymore unless they get your car shipped and delivered...sometimes a group of people can get the ball moving...just a thought..I will be the first one to call and let them know what I think...I have purchased a whole bunch of new car GM vehicles and will be more then happy to "rock the Boat " for you

I got a call from my dealer ordering department today. I canceled my deposit on a lot car at another dealer to order with them. Just wasnt willing to settle on a lot car. I placed the order at this dealer as i was most comfortable with them. I made it clear when I ordered the car on 3/28 it must have the blade spoiler. The dealer promised me I would get it one way or another. My salesman forwarded every email I sent, every screen shot, every piece of info up until a couple weeks ago that i had sent. When they told me sorry it's not shipping with it but you will love the car it frustrated me.

I opened a complaint case with GM. Numerous emails, phone calls, etc. GM determined it's not their fault and called my dealer telling them it is their responsibility. Fortunately my dealer escalated it internally and as of today they notified me that they're swapping a nfgm LT trunk lid onto my car and also installing the blade spoiler. I'm paying for the blade but not the trunk lid or labor.

At first the ordering Dept manager told me I had gotten erroneous information from chat rooms. I said absolutely not. I've only researched facts and camaro6 isn't just some bs chat room. This is a community of passionate enthusiast as well as GM employees and other dealers that take this stuff seriously.

I showed him where others ordered before and after me got their car the way they wanted it. That it was and is possible. I'm not interested in who's fault it was just the result which seems like it is going to work for me after being relentless. Don't expect GM to do the right thing or other dealers to step up like Becky. They aren't on the same level of knowledge and dedication. If you are using your local dealers I recommend you research your vehicle thoroughly. Put in writing your expectations to be met so that you're not left spending 50k just to end up not having exactly what you wanted from the start.

I agree, Becky is more helpful to us even those of us she has never met than our own local dealers.

Wait until they throw the "For Entertainment Purposes Only" clause at you from the forum then deny your legal rights to a refund of your deposit, and then tell their Field Rep that when the Customer calls to say that "We lied to him", here is the fist piece of communication that refutes that (but we will not share all other documented conversations and communications that mean that the initial communication is out of context).

And Chevy chat? Oh don't get me started. Who works the keyboard there? They are practically useless and don't even know there is a customer service department...really.

I did get contacted by the Chevy Customer Service that monitors this site, and they seemed to have half a clue - but no answers to my issue. Dealers are independent, and if Tesla and Elio get their way, there will be a lot less 'independent dealers' soon.

As for the shipping / QC issue - it is absolutely ridiculous there is not a customer escalation path into GM for sold orders. Chevy, ARE YOU LISTENING?
